HiXstories. My Journey to My Own Fitness Club — Xtreme Brands Launches a New Podcast

The decision to open your own fitness club is about far more than choosing the right location and equipment. A future owner has to take on several areas of work all at once. It falls to them to plan the investment, prepare the premises for opening, recruit and train a team, and design a sales system — as well as manage it day to day.

For people considering entering the fitness industry, this combination of demands can feel overwhelming.

That is exactly why we are launching the podcast "HiXstories. My Journey to My Own Fitness Club." The podcast is a series of conversations with Xtreme Fitness Gyms franchisees, offering an inside look at their everyday reality — from the initial decision, through joining the network, to the day-to-day running of a club and scaling the business.

 

Franchising from an Entrepreneur's Perspective

In the HiXstories campaign, we hand the microphone to the people who run Xtreme Fitness Gyms clubs and have personally been through the process of opening a business under a franchise model. They share their experiences with you, talk about the doubts that came with the journey, and reflect on how they see those doubts now, with the benefit of hindsight.

Each of the stories we bring you starts from a different place. Every franchisee has a different professional background and personal situation. Their clubs are also growing at different paces. What all the HiXstories have in common is the decision to run a fitness club within a proven business model, backed by the network's know-how and ongoing support.

We created this podcast first and foremost for people who are considering opening their own fitness club and want to see what this business looks like from the inside — before they make the decision to invest.

 

Paula Zielińska

The first episode features Paula Zielińska, an Xtreme Fitness Gyms franchisee who runs three clubs — in Krasnystaw, Zamość, and Chełm.

Her story shows how the role of a fitness club owner changes over time. In the early stages, it often means being directly involved in operations and the day-to-day running of the club. As the business grows, however, strategic decisions, team management, maintaining standards, and forward planning become increasingly important.

In the first episode, Paula talks about her journey, her experience in the fitness industry, and how the direction of her career changed after joining the Xtreme Fitness Gyms franchise network.

The "HiXstories. My Journey to My Own Fitness Club" campaign was created to show fitness franchising through the eyes of the people who run the clubs, make the decisions, and face the realities of this business every single day.
